In addition to her teaching career she was a great wife, daughter, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was very creative, painting up until her death.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting and nurturing any and all pets that showed up at her house. She loved having her genealogy done.  She loved history and her genealogy was a big part of that.  She kept busy every day....taking care of everyone.

Ruth and Ray prided themselves on the house they designed and built along with Ray's Uncle in 1948; growing a family and making memories within those walls.

She was very proud but humble about the many accomplishments in her life. She will be sadly missed by all relatives and friends who knew and loved her.
