Frederick T. Robinson Jr., was born at Frankford Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, on January 20, 1940, to the late Frederick T. and Edith (nee Johnson) Robinson, Sr., of Andalusia, PA. He passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

“Fred” aka “Robbie,” as he was affectionately called, was educated in the School District of Philadelphia, and graduated from Bensalem High School. Fred was a United States Army Veteran and enlisted in the Army National Guard, 121st Transportation, Lebanon, PA. While serving in the National Guard, Fred worked countless jobs spending the last several years at Venezia Bulk Transport, Limerick, PA, until his retirement. Fred was a proud member of the American Legion Post 244, Sanatoga, PA, St. Gabriel Italian Lodge, Stowe, PA, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Pottstown, PA, and the Post 780 VFW, Pottstown, PA.

Fred was always a hard-working man. He loved camping, sports (the Philadelphia Eagles was his team), going to the flea markets and bowling, which awarded him countless trophies and brought him tremendous joy. Fred was well-known and loved in his community. His strength and self-determination were his core, dominant characteristics. It was very important for him to live life in his own way and be his own man, and that he was. Fred cherished his loved ones dearly and the special moments spent with family especially, the summer barbecues with brother (Tommy), in Bristol, PA, and visiting family in Michigan.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie (nee Patrick), his brother, Thomas II (Catherine) and sister, Virginia (Donald) Richards. Left to celebrate and cherish his life and legacy is his brother, William II (Stephanie); his children, Douglas (Simona), Jermaine, Kim; and a special bond with Lisa (Eric) Diener; his grandchildren, Douglas Jr., Alicia, Aliya, Jermaine Jr., and Heather; his great-grandchildren, Jermaine III, Braylen and Brendan; his sister-in-law, Beverly (Wayne) Washburn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
