Obituary of Charles A. Barnett
Charles “Charlie” A. Barnett, 64, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on March 2, 2021, at Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Born in Phoenixville, PA, on March 14, 1956, Charlie was the son of the late Art and Helen Barnett.
Charlie did janitorial services at Phoenixville hospital along with working at polymeric system doing manufacturing. His hobbies included playing guitar, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family, Charlie also enjoyed learning.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Tammy “Dink” Barnett and boyfriend Joe Sullivan; his ex-wife, Maryjane Barnett, his grandchildren, Victoria “Vicki” and boyfriend Adam “that boy” Minner, Summer, Travis, and Ariel; and his brother James, wife Shirley Barnett, and nephew Michael Barnett.
In addition to his parents, Charlie is predeceased by his son, Richard “Ricky” Coulter; and his brothers, Tommy Barnett and Robert Barnett.
Also surviving are his close friends, Sue and husband Terry Shea, Dennis and wife Stephanie Cooper, Harvey “Boo” Maute, George Gajewski, and Bill “The Cop” Mcconnell. Also Charlie was a father figure to Chasity Acree he was looking forward to walking her down the aisle in her upcoming wedding to Steve Fry.
