Obituary of Wendy Eppehimer
Juanita “Wendy” (Capo) Eppehimer, 71, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on February 18, 2021, at Pottstown Hospital – Tower Health. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Eppehimer Jr., who passed in 2013.
Born in Pottstown, PA, on February 28, 1949, Juanita was the daughter of the late Anthony Charles Capo Sr., and Marcella Ann (Martin) Capo.
Wendy graduated from Bishop Domenec High School in Pittsburgh, PA, and worked for Creative Health Services in Pottstown, PA, until she retired in 2013. She was an active and faithful member of Christ Episcopal Church in Pottstown, PA, where she helped serve the poor and homeless. She was also a member of the Doe Club of the Pottstown Elks Lodge #814. In her spare time, Wendy enjoyed reading novels and bowling. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her!
She is lovingly remembered by her companion, Eugene Pretnicki; her sister, Ruth Jarrett; her brother, Anthony Capo Jr.; her nephew, William Dickinson; and her great-niece, Gianna Grace Dickinson.
In addition to her husband and parents, Wendy is predeceased by her brothers, David Capo and Daniel Capo; and her sisters, Veronica Garner and Deborah Capo.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 21, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Aloysius New Cemetery, 800 Block of Buchert Rd., Pottstown, PA 19464.
