Obituary of Natalie Hall
Natalie (Hotchkiss) Hall, 85, of Frederick PA, formerly of Enfield, CT, widow of N. Stanley Hall, died Monday, January 18, 2021, at a local retirement community of heart disease. Born in Fall River, MA, daughter of the late Benjamin A. and Elizabeth (Mortimer) Hotchkiss, she grew up in Fall River as well as Waterloo, IA. After moving to Windsor CT with her parents, she attended Bryant College in Providence RI. Natalie had been employed for over thirty years as a secretary with the Enfield Police Department. She was an active member of the Enfield Congregational Church and the Women’s Club of Enfield. She endured being isolated for the past ten months due to COVID-19 with a brave face and a stoic attitude. Her daughters will be forever grateful that they were able to be with her during her last days. Natalie was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her children, and son- and daughters-in-law Betsy Hall (Kella Blaylock) of Pottstown PA, Marcia DuMond (Douglas) of Darien CT, and Thomas Hall (Lolly) of Reston, VA; sister Cynthia Morton of Somers CT; six grandchildren, Jonathan Butler, Jeremy Butler (Kaori), Alexander DuMond, Andrew DuMond, Garrett Hall, and Brennan Hall. She is additionally survived by one great-grandson, Jeremy Ryu Butler, and several nieces and nephews. Natalie was honored to be the godmother of Kimberly Evans of Enfield CT. Services to be held at a later date.
