Michael Rauscher

Obituary of Michael Rauscher

Michael Huston Rauscher, 24, died unexpectedly on August 31, 2018.

Michael is survived by his parents, Ric and Jeanne of Pottstown, his big brother, Jake Rauscher, of Birdsboro, Mom-Mom Alice Eichelberger of Malvern, Aunt Nancy Schreiber with Uncle Bill Clardy of Elverson, Uncle Mark Eichelberger with Uncle Bill Hooker of Chalfont and Uncle Ed Eichelberger and Aunt Susan of Lyman, SC. His cousin families – the Schreibers of Parkesburg and Peachtree City, GA, the VanZijls of Monkton, MD, the Elvanians of Glenmoore and Wayne, the Kaplans of Elverson, the Balls of Painesville, OH and the Heaths of Fairport Harbor, OH and his crazy cat Sir Bentley.

Michael was a 2012 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School and employed as an operator/crew leader with Ron Smith, Inc. in Downingtown. He had a natural skill at operating heavy equipment. Michael was an avid dek hockey player, a Flyers fan, a math whiz, and loved to go fishing and camping. He was crazy about his Honda Civic Si. He and his brother Jake, who also has a Honda Civic Si, would attend many car shows together. Michael was like a magnet when he was around kids. They would just gravitate towards him. They obviously felt the big heart that he had. This past July, Michael had just made his next home in Honey Brook. He was thrilled to have his own place. Michael – you brought so much joy to our lives and you will be in our hearts and minds forever.
