Obituary of Madison O'Connor

Madison X. O’Connor, 22, of Upper Pottsgrove, PA passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home.

Madison was born July 18, 1994 in Pottstown, PA. He was a son of Michelle Savino-O’Connor and Roland T. O’Connor.

He was a loving, energetic, humorous, and charming individual. Madison won the SEPA Middle School Wrestling Championship in Norristown, PA. He was also on Team Pennsylvania’s Middle School National Championship Wrestling Team. He was an All-State lineman for Pottsgrove High School and also threw shot-put. He continued his football career into college. He made many everlasting friendships along the way. One of his favorite shows to watch was Grey’s Anatomy. Madison was a loved person and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. As one of Madison's favorite movies, The Sandlot, has said, "Remember kid, there are heroes and there are legends: Heroes get remembered, but legends never die". Madison's legend will be everlasting and will be missed by many.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 9-11 AM at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11 AM. Interment will take place after the service at St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Pottstown, PA.
