Obituary of Adam Feather

Adam Sylvester Feather left this world and joined his beloved wife Edna in heaven on March 14th 2017. He was 73. Born in Altoona Pennsylvania to the late William Adam and Isabelle Marie (Loukart), he relocated to Pottstown in hopes to find work. He met his wife soon after and settled in town to start a family.

Adam was a true jack of all trades. There was nothing he could not fix or build and he enjoyed working with his hands. Professionally, he retired from Cabot Corporation as a machinist of more than 30 years. His hobbies included working on cars, riding his motorcycle, wood working, gardening and drawing. He was also a man of God and enjoyed fellowship within his church community.

In addition to Edna, Adam was proceeded in death by both his parents as well as several brothers and sisters: Albert Feather, Janet Feather, William Feather, Isabelle Phillips, Violet Feathers, and Vivian Carr. He is survived by two brothers, George Feather and Floyd Feather as well as one sister, Darlene Hilbert. Adam also leaves behind five children: Patricia Daroci of Pottstown, Adam S. Feather, Jr. of Barto, Lisa, wife of Michael Soltis of Robesonia, Christine, wife of Dennis Amole of Pottstown, and Wanda, wife of Andrew Ruppert of Gilbertsville. He was blessed with nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren who were fortunate to know and be loved by him. They were his true pride and joy.

Service and interment will be private and held at the convenience of his family.
