Suzanne Stiverson

Spread your wings as you go, and when God takes you back we'll say “Hallelujah, you’re home!”

Suzanne (Iungerich) Stiverson, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2021. She was the devoted wife of Jack Stiverson, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Bethesda, MD, on August 12, 1946, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Alexander and Dorothy (Smith) Iungerich, and sister of the late Emily Iungerich and Russell Iungerich.

Suzanne graduated in 1964 from Seaside High School, and then graduated in 1968 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR. After graduating, Suzanne spent many years working as a substitute teacher and traveling with her husband as he served in the United States Army. After working various jobs over the years, Suzanne retired in 2013 as the marketing manager at Hewlett Packard. In her spare time, Suzanne enjoyed quilting and traveling, especially to her favorite place, the Ko Olina Resort in Kapolei, HI.

Although Suzanne faced many trials throughout her life, she always remained upbeat, positive, and ready to share her beautiful smile! She will be remembered as a phenomenal wife, an amazing mother, an incredible grandmother, and a kind friend to anyone she encountered.

In memory of Suzanne, please share a smile, do something kind, and treat others the way you want to be treated.

In addition to her husband, Suzanne is lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott (& Rochelle) Stiverson; her granddaughters, Sara (& Jeremy Vivensi) Stiverson and Emily Stiverson; her sister-in-law, Vi Iungerich; and her niece and nephew, Lauren Dooner and Jonathan Iungerich.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA 19525. A Life Celebration will follow at 10:30 a.m.
