Joseph A. Camaho, 76, passed away on February 26, 2020, at his home in Pottstown, PA. He was the husband of the late Nancy (Shiban) Camaho and Diane (Varec) Camaho. Born in Pottstown, PA, on January 25, 1944, Joseph was the son of the late Oneil and Marion (Haines) Camaho. Joseph graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in 1961, and joined the United States Army in 1966 where he served until his honorable discharge in 1968. After his time in the military, he began his various careers working at Robinson Clay, Firestone, and as a welder at Dana Incorporated in Pottstown. More recently, Joseph found his passion working as a massage therapist for a number of years at Toppers Spa in Devon where he worked until retirement. His hobbies included hand drumming, playing his flutes, sand painting, leather work, crossword puzzles, and sitting on the front porch with his pups, Pipin and Nelson. He was also a member of the Southeastern Cherokee Confederacy. He is survived by his children, Tracy Camaho, Salem, NJ, Joseph Camaho Jr., Antioch, TN, and Lisa Beatty, wife of Tim, Pottstown, PA; his siblings, Jane Michaels, Mary Rohrbach, and Patricia Harbach, wife of George; and his four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his siblings, Marion Quigley, David Camaho, and Virginia Levengood. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Royersford United Methodist Church, 380 Church St., Royersford, PA 19468. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. A time of fellowship will follow after the service.
