Paul W. Sheeler, 92, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at his home in Pottstown, PA.
Born in Boyertown, PA, on October 30, 1926, Paul was the son of the late Russell and Catherine (Kauffman) Sheeler.
Paul was a WWII veteran and a member of the American Legion Post in Boyertown, PA. He worked for 10 years at Doehler-Jarvis and for 34 years at Kemp’s Market in Sanatoga where he was well known and loved. He had many talents, which included singing, woodworking, and making things. Everyone that came in contact with Paul loved him. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Emma Roberts, Lititz, PA; and Betty McDonald, Exeter, PA; two nieces, Linda Raines, wife of Henry; and Cathy Davidson; three nephews, Ronnie, Donnie, and Dale Roberts; his loveable buddy, Aydin Fox with whom he was inseparable; and his kind-hearted neighbors, Wayne and Wendy Cooper who loved him very much.
He is predeceased by his companion of over 50 years, Mabel Endy; two brothers, Russell and Clarence Sheeler; and one nephew, Jesse Roberts.
A viewing will take place on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place after the service at Highland Memorial Park.
