I was so sorry to see the FB post about your mother dying. She lived a long life and I will always fondly remember her as my "second" mother since it seemed like we were back & forth next door quite a bit. Your mother was a creative and warm loving person who was always willing to help out. I recall our Tues evening "Teddy Bear" picnics when we'd pack sandwiches and go into the woods off Clump Rd and have a picnic and candy hunt. I also recall her taking all of us to the creek up at Ridge Valley on hot days for a swim. I know she loved talking to my mother, your "Aunt Grace", and would spend many a night conversing outside with her. I hated to see you move to Spring House was it where you had the big house on the hill. Remember our "shows" we would put on at your house and the birthday parties she had for all of you with her beautifully decorated cakes? And than the doll clothes she'd make! Those were the good old times. I am sure you all have many fond memories too of your mother. May she rest in peace and may your memories help sustain you during this time.
Sending our sincere sympathy to each family member at the loss of Edith. I recall her kind and thoughtful words and manner, such a dear Lady! May the Lord comfort you and your mind be filled with the many blessed times you shared with her. Especially in knowing she is now in Jesus arms.
